Community Involvement

Lake Orion Dragons Cycling Team

We are a proud sponsor of the Lake Orion Dragons Cycling Team. The LO Cycling Team encourages and promotes mountain biking among school aged kids from 2nd grade through high school with the opportunity to compete in the MiSCA race series each fall. Most importantly, the team helps students grow in skill and confidence both on and off the bike.

Lake Orion Police Department

In May of 2026 we had the privilege of donating two outfitted electric bikes to the Lake Orion Police Department. These bikes help officers be more visible and accessible to the public especially during major special events.

Chamber of Commerce

Lake Orion Bike & Adventure Co. is a member of the Orion Area Chamber of Commerce and has both hosted and supported Chamber Events.

The History of 47 S. Broadway

For more than a century, this building has been part of the local community, evolving alongside the people and businesses who have called it home. IN 1915, C.R. Voorheis operated a farm machinery store here, followed by Charlie Parker’s Feed Store in the 1920’s. During the 1940’s and 1950’s, the building became Waite’s Feed Store, continuing its role as a place where local customers gathered and did business. IN the 1960’s Art’s Pizza and Party Store brought a new chapter to the space and remained until 1979. In 1984, Lake Orion Window Treatments moved in and called the building home for the next 37 years. Today, the building is writing another chapter in Lake Orion’s history – going back to its “machinery” roots by bringing two wheeled machines to town at the Lake Orion Bike & Adventure Co. and continuing a long tradition of serving the community and bringing people together.
